A self-help book that is indeed very inspiring. I read this book when I was feeling extremely low and was very underconfident, this book gave me a light of hope and the determination to achieve anything I dream. Paulo Coelho's masterpiece tells the mystical story of Santiago, an Andalusian shepherd boy who yearns to travel in search of a worldly treasure. His quest will lead him to riches far different—and far more satisfying—than he ever imagined. Santiago's journey teaches us about the essential wisdom of listening to our hearts, recognizing opportunity and learning to read the omens strewn along life's path, and, most importantly, following our dreams.

The Alchemist is written in simple prose that is heavy on sensory details. It contains a lot of extremely quotable passages, which gives the book a “self-help” tone. Santiago is a shepherd from Andalusia who, while resting in a church, dreams about pyramids and treasures. After having his dream interpreted by an old woman, and after learning the concept of “Personal Legends,” he sets out to find those pyramids. Significant stops in his journey include Tangier, where he works for a crystal merchant, and the oasis, where he falls in love with Fatima, a “desert woman,” and meets an alchemist.

During his travels, he also gets acquainted with the concept of the “Soul of the World,” which makes all beings partake in the same spiritual essence. This allows him to turn into the wind while facing some captors. Once he finally reaches the pyramids, he learns that the treasure he’d been looking for was by the church where he was resting at the beginning of the novel.

This novel is unforgettable.

I would like to urge all the beginners or the ones who are going to start reading, please read this book. It will be a great investment and has very easy grammar.

Thank You For staying up till the last in this blog.

Bye And Take Care

A Thousand Splendid Suns - By Khalid Hosseni

A Thousand Splendid Suns - By Khalid Hosseini Genre - Fictional, Historical, Classic Rating - 5/5 Pages - 372 A book that ripped the hearts of almost many readers including me. This book gives us the feeling of gratitude, family, love, affection, feminism, and a lot more. It is beautifully written by the author Khaled Hosseini. He is indeed a storyteller.  Khaled Hosseini born March 4, 1965, is an Afghan-American novelist, UNHCR goodwill ambassador, and former physician. His debut novel The Kite Runner (2003) was a critical and commercial success; the book and his subsequent novels have all been at least partially set in Afghanistan and have featured an Afghan as the protagonist. He unfolds the story very well. Here is a glimpse of the book as a summary. A Thousand Splendid Suns is set in Afghanistan from the early 1960s to the early 2000s. Mariam, a young girl in the 1960s, grows up outside Herat, a small city in Afghanistan. Mariam has complicated feelings about her parents: She ...
