Keshav Rajpurohit is an IIT pass-out who, much to the chagrin of his proud family members, is teaching in a JEE coaching center in Delhi. He is still in love with his ex-girlfriend, the beautiful Kashmiri Muslim, Zara – who broke up with him 4 years ago. Ever since then, Keshav has been pining for her love despite every practical advice against it.
What seems like an ordinary unsuccessful love story, turns into something different altogether when one day, on the eve of her birthday, Zara messages Keshav out of the blue. Drunk, and already in half his wits, he readily agrees to meet her by sneaking into her hostel room (room no 105) in the dead of the night, just like he used to do years ago when they were still dating. This one mistake changes his life forever. Unknowingly he does what he should never have done. Now, he is caught in a whirlwind of events and it doesn’t seem that there is a way out.
I personally didn't like it. it was all a marketing gimmick for me. I didn't get the message of Chetan Bhagat that he had to convey. There is a misinterpretation of unlove. And clearly, I didn't understand the meaning of unlove. I don't want to give any spoilers to the readers. But skip the book if you don't like chetan bhagat or Bollywood-cliche type of plots. And it is for sure a one-time read. So I would suggest not investing in this book, just investing in more thrilling books like the silent patient and many more. I have reviewed it for you. Here is the link to it.
