Hello Guys, I have completed this book. The committed readers of this blog will understand it. I have shared this book in my monthly favorites. For more details pls read that blog it was a new series that I started with all my heart and put a lot of effort on that particular series. If we get more views then I also have an ongoing secret project which I will share but not now. Now we will review the most famous, hyped, and most talked about book on Tick Tock and Instagram. People are all over this book. Let's find out if this book really deserves this hype or is overhyped?

Let's start with a small overview -

This story is about renowned Hollywood actress Evelyn Hugo who, after decades of blockbuster hits, is now 79 and ready to give an exclusive interview after years of dodging the press. But the only one granted access is a little-known journalist named Monique Grant. Though she can't understand why she's been chosen, Monique goes to Evelyn's home and finds out Evelyn doesn't just want to do an interview — she wants to lay out every piece of her truth for Monique to write and sell her biography.

Though Evelyn won't answer why she picked Monique to do the job, Monique agrees and Evelyn's story begins to unfold from her calculated beginnings in Hollywood to the millions she enjoys in the present, each section of her life titled by each of her seven husbands and her reasons for marrying (and divorcing) them. As you traverse all the gritty details of Evelyn's life, it feels like you're being allowed exclusive access to something you shouldn't be allowed to see. This book reads like a shocking Hollywood exposé and I still can't believe the characters and events aren't real. 

Taylor Jenkin's Writing Style - 

I find her writing somewhat similar to that of Khaled Hosseini as he beautifully recites a story. In the same way, Taylor also unveils the character and the thriller step by step, keeping the reader engaged in the book. Bu

To me, the mark of a great book is making you completely forget that you're reading in the first place, and that's exactly what "The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo" does to me. 

Conclusion - 

I think the book is a little bit overhyped. I was very curious to find out why she chose Monique only to write her story and also what was her story with her seven husbands. And how she ended up marrying seven husbands in her life. But after some time I find it very boring and just want that the story wraps up and just end. But Taylor explained it well and speaks the truth about the Hollywood industry. I somehow found it very transparent. So all in all it is a decent book.
