Wattpad Must Reads
I was introduced to Wattpad by the Instagram. As I was so fed up with the reels of some book's dialogues, plots, and characters. Some of which I also found interesting but as I see the caption it was written read at Wattpad. I was like what is this? Is this a new publication or an author's name? Yeah, It was so stupid of me. Then I carefully read the comments and found out that is a free online reading app that allows users to read and publish original stories. So as we cover over 500 views on our blog. YES !!!! BRB crying inside. I never expected this much but forever grateful for this. So I thought to bring this blog to you guys. I will be sharing my top Wattpad stories which are swoon-worthy, devoted, and with a good plot.
1. Universe of Dreams
This is my first Wattpad story which I have read. I actually as mentioned before saw it in a reel and the comments were flooded with its appreciation. So I thought maybe I just give it a chance. It is written by @Arii. And I was so impressed by the story. I completed all the chapters in 1 day only. Its plot is like a girl, her name is Grace. She is a hopeless romantic and basically assumes that there is a parallel universe and only there she can fulfill her wishes. But no there is a new student in their class named, Dash who was completely swept away by her charm. And the way the author has expressed his feelings is commendable. There is way much more than this, I don't want to give a spoiler. It is an ongoing story so I'm excited about the story. I want the author to give it a good ending.
2. The Cutting Edge
Ever wanted to read a Kdrama novel? I got you. The Cutting Edge by author @chromatix is an interestingly well-written romcom, set up in a K-drama-like backstory. It is picked as one of Wattpad Editor’s Choices, The Cutting Edge has a blurb that goes: “Small-town girl Song Hyejin grew up with a pair of scissors in her hand, spending her high school days in her father’s barber shop cutting crew cuts for young men who were about to enlist in the army; this was how she was intending to spend the rest of her life. But who knows what life has for us. And here is a plot twist. It is such a good story, I was mesmerized by it. It feels like I am watching a Kdrama only.
3. The Wavering Hawk
It is written by @diahsulis. In order to find a new world, since the Earth was on the verge of death, a group of humans traveled to Mars to find a new paradise. What they found was something else, left behind by an unknown civilization. From this discovery, the Maha were born. The Maha are a new generation of superhumans who are unaffected by the harsh conditions of a deteriorating Earth.
The Wavering Hawk focuses on the story of Nathaniel, a Maha who is having a crisis of conscience. As the Maha wage war on regular humans, Nathaniel asks himself what victory means and questions the cause he’s fighting for. It is also a good story and worth reading.
4. The Bad Boy's Girl
It was written by Blair Holden. Tessa O'Connell is a girl as ordinary as they come- or so she thinks. Her aim for senior year is to keep her head down yet somehow manage to convince her childhood love Jay Stone to love her back. What she isn't prepared for is for Jay's brother, Cole, to return to town and change the life she's always been seemingly content to live. Tall, gorgeous as all hell, and a bad boy with ocean blue eyes and the perfect edge of adorability, he was her greatest tormentor, her number-one enemy. But the guy that's come back is like no one Tessa's ever come across. He challenges her, he tests her limits, he forces her to bring out the girl she's long ago buried under a veil of mediocrity and most of all he compels her to consider that perhaps the boy that infuriates her to the point of no return might just her guardian angel. It is such a unique story as it includes the self-discovery of the girl.
5. The Guy Next Door
It is written by Nylla Camphry. Clara Wilson is your typical clichéd teen fiction protagonist with exactly two friends, no social life, and a 4.0 GPA. She has been in love with Alec Evans, the unattainably popular football quarterback, and her next-door neighbor forever. She thinks she's in for a quiet senior year until Jake Henderson arrives. Bad boy extraordinaire, he's arrogant, rude, undeniably gorgeous, and shares a past with Clara that she wants to do nothing more than to forget. Caught between two boys, her life is turned upside down in the most ridiculous of ways. But maybe in the midst of all the confusion and chaos, she finds not only love but also herself. It is a very common storyline but you will not be bored. The author has beautifully written it. Just love it.
"Every good girl wants a bad boy who is good only for her."
"Every bad boy wants a good girl who is bad only for him."
"Whenever you are looking for love don't look too far he might be right next door."
