Genre - Thriller, Romance, Mystery, Fiction

Hello Everyone, I'm so sorry I didn't post much and was completely zoned out. But trust me the schedule had been too hectic.  So I have decided to give you all a small present from my side. I hope that you all will enjoy it as much as I do it.
Thank You for all the support and love. <3

Lowen Ashleigh is a struggling writer on the brink of financial ruin when she accepts the job offer of a lifetime. Jeremy Crawford, husband of bestselling author Verity Crawford, has hired Lowen to complete the remaining books in a successful series his injured wife is unable to finish.

Lowen arrives at the Crawford home, ready to sort through years of Verity's notes and outlines, hoping to find enough material to get her started. What Lowen doesn't expect to uncover in the chaotic office is an unfinished autobiography Verity never intended for anyone to read. Page after page of bone-chilling admissions, including Verity's recollection of what really happened the day her daughter died.

Lowen decides to keep the manuscript hidden from Jeremy, knowing its contents would devastate the already grieving father. But as Lowen's feelings for Jeremy begin to intensify, she recognizes all the ways she could benefit if he were to read his wife's words. After all, no matter how devoted Jeremy is to his injured wife, a truth this horrifying would make it impossible for him to continue to love her.

Reading this book, I wouldn’t have guessed that Hoover was someone who doesn’t typically write thrillers. It’s dark and graphic and very suspenseful. She definitely nails the thriller atmosphere and the page-turner pacing.

I also thought the major plot twist in it was fairly clever, though I don’t want to spoil anything about it here (see the Spoiler-ish Thoughts section for details). However, the ending seems a little implausible and relies on characters acting in contrived ways to make it work. The ending kinda irritated me. As the author has not specifically ended it. She just left the character's intentions in your imagination. But overall the book is good. It also creeps me out sometimes when I read it. But there are a lot of good mystery books in this genre. So this book is not the best but ya good. The insta-worthy book "Verity" by Collen Hoover is a good thriller to read. Here are some pros and cons of the book.

Thank You For Staying Up Till Last.
Bye Bye <3

PROS
  • Plenty of suspense
  • Page-turner
  • Solid plot twist
CONS
  • Very graphic (may be a pro or con for you)
  • The somewhat implausible ending relies on characters acting in contrived ways

A Thousand Splendid Suns - By Khalid Hosseni

A Thousand Splendid Suns - By Khalid Hosseini Genre - Fictional, Historical, Classic Rating - 5/5 Pages - 372 A book that ripped the hearts of almost many readers including me. This book gives us the feeling of gratitude, family, love, affection, feminism, and a lot more. It is beautifully written by the author Khaled Hosseini. He is indeed a storyteller.  Khaled Hosseini born March 4, 1965, is an Afghan-American novelist, UNHCR goodwill ambassador, and former physician. His debut novel The Kite Runner (2003) was a critical and commercial success; the book and his subsequent novels have all been at least partially set in Afghanistan and have featured an Afghan as the protagonist. He unfolds the story very well. Here is a glimpse of the book as a summary. A Thousand Splendid Suns is set in Afghanistan from the early 1960s to the early 2000s. Mariam, a young girl in the 1960s, grows up outside Herat, a small city in Afghanistan. Mariam has complicated feelings about her parents: She ...

Wattpad New Stories

Wattpad New Stories So, Hi Guys!! I'm back. I am so grateful for the response that you guys gave to my last post i.e. Wattpad must-reads. And even the author of one of the books also commented. I was on cloud nine on that day. So I thought to make it a series for you guys to get an ultimate guide on Wattpad. So in this blog, I will be sharing Wattpad's fresh new stories which I think are worth reading and worth waiting too. I want to encourage the authors as well as it is not the cakewalk to write a story. So here are my top recommendations which I love. 1. Universe of Dreams First has to be this. I love it so much and the author is making all the readers blush so much that I can't explain. The story, plot, characters, and language everything is just falling into the right place. I added this in my previous blog as well. Here is the review from the previous blog. This is my first Wattpad story which I have read. I actually as mentioned before saw it in a reel and the commen...
